Livonia, Mich.-based CU Solutions Group is set to expand its HR offerings for credit unions and other clients following its May 1 acquisition of software and customer accounts connected to Nanaimo, Canada-based CU Training.
Under the terms of the deal, which closed May 1, CUSG will have “exclusive and perpetual license to the software code, contracts and intellectual property” for all of CU Training’s board training products, including Board 360.
At present, CU Training serves more than 300 credit unions in Canada and the U.S.
“Our software fits perfectly with the HR software suite offered by CU Solutions Group,” Lin Sheffield, CEO of CU Training, said in a statement. “With a joint sales effort, shared software development, and quality client support, our two organizations will be uniquely positioned in this new HR software category of integrated learning and performance management solutions.”
CUSG currently serves more than 1,600 credit unions and other organizations, through its HR Performance Solutions division.
Dave Adams, president/CEO of CU Solutions Group, stated that providing credit unions with “à la carte and bundled HR solutions is a top priority for CU Solutions Group.”
