Centric Federal Credit Union in West Monroe, Louisiana, has named Rodney Parker as its new CEO.
Parker was already president of the $312 million-asset credit union, and he will now fill both roles.
Parker succeeds Chris Craighead, who retired after working for 30 years as the credit union's leader. Craighead began his career at Centric, which was formerly known as Forest Kraft, in March 1992 as its president and chief executive.
"Even though Chris has had many achievements and much success, he is quick to give credit to those around him," Centric Chairman Joe Phillips said in a press release. "Chris has a passion for the credit union movement and wants to make a difference by helping those around him live better by providing hope."
Parker was Centric's chief financial officer for 10 years before being named president in March 2021.
After his retirement, Craighead looks forward to spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, serving in the community and mowing, the company said.
Centric earned $2.9 million in the first six months of 2022, a 30% decrease compared with a year earlier, according to call report data from the National Credit Union Administration.
