Carolina FCU Expands FOM With Tie To Consumer Group

CHERRYVILLE, N.C. – Carolina FCU is the fifth credit union to join the North Carolina Consumers Council, a nonprofit organization promoting consumer education, awareness and protection that will expand membership eligibility for the credit union.

Membership in the consumer group enables individuals to become eligible to join the credit union just by joining the Council. “As our newest credit union partner, Carolina Federal will help us further our commitment to promoting the benefits of credit union services and make these superior services available to as many consumers as possible,” said Sandra Bullock, president of the Council.

The $30 million credit union joins Coastal FCU, Members CU, Premier FCU and Lorillard FCU as council members.
