FEDERAL WAY, Wash. --PBS television stations in 31 states have committed to broadcast the BizKid$ TV series sponsored by America’s Credit Unions to teach kids about money.
Starting in early 2008, the 26-episode series is scheduled to debut on 130 PBS stations, including the top three public television markets: Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago. More states will likely be added in January.
Biz Kid$ will also air on all High Definition Channel PBS stations (approximately 100) on Sundays at 5 p.m. beginning Jan. 27, 2008. This means all PBS stations that have HD channels will air Biz Kid$ at the same designated daytime slot across America.
Every Biz Kids episode will begin and end with a narrator reminding viewers that "Production funding for Biz Kid$ is provided by America's Credit Unions, where people are worth more than money."
