ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Members of Alaska USA FCU can now access their accounts free of charge over their cell phones and other wireless devices, the credit union giant said yesterday.
The credit union’s UltraBranch service allows members to check account balances and previous transactions, transfer between accounts, view credit card balances and pay bills all from their cell phone if they have Internet access. Members can also find current rates, the nearest ATM or a branch location with UltraBranch Mobile.
UltraBranch Mobile uses end-to-end SSL (Secure Socket Layer) based security and account information is not stored on the cellular device.
Alaska USA FCU is one of the biggest credit unions in the country, with $3 billion in assets and 315,000 members.
