Two Jack Henry Banks Add Argo Modules

Two banks that use core processing software from Jack Henry and Associates Inc. have agreed to use data processing applications offered through a reselling agreement with Argo Data Resource Corp.

The Monett, Mo., banking technology provider said Tuesday that Community Bancshares of Mississippi Inc. in Brandon is planning to use two of the four modules in Argo's Keys software suite — DepositKeys, for opening opening customer accounts, and LendingKeys, for consumer and business loans.

Lone Star National Bank in Pharr, Tex., is planning to use LendingKeys and RelationshipKeys, a customer relationship management application.

The Argo software is compatible with Jack Henry's flagship SilverLake core processing application, and Jack Henry has offered it since 2001. The fourth Argo module is TellerKeys, used to process sales and transactions in branches.

Tony Wormington, Jack Henry's president, said in a press release that his company offers more than 100 such add-on products and services that are compatible with its SilverLake software, from Argo and other providers.
