Texas Capital's Incoming CEO Shuffles Bank Management

Texas Capital Bancshares (TCBI) in Dallas announced several executive moves in advance of its new chief executive taking office.

Peter Bartholow, the company's chief financial officer, was named to the additional post of chief operating officer of Texas Capital Bank, the company's $10 billion-asset bank. Keith Cargill, the company's chief operating and lending officer, will become president and chief executive when George Jones retires at the end of this year.

Julie Anderson, the company's controller, was named chief financial officer for the bank. Vince Ackerson, head of mortgage finance, was named Texas regional president and chief lending officer for Texas Capital Bank.

Russell Hartsfield was promoted to Dallas regional president. He had been in charge of corporate finance, lender finance and leasing for the Dallas area.

George Jones, 69, announced his retirement in June.

"With George Jones retiring … and with the tremendous growth we've experienced, we are creating exciting opportunities for our people," Cargill said in a press release Wednesday. "This is an orderly transition which will continue to provide continuity to our customers and opportunities within our company for everyone to continue our 15 years of consecutive growth."
