Former JPM Exec Heidi Miller Named to SRS Acquiom's Board

SRS Acquiom, a provider of merger and acquisition services, has appointed former JPMorgan Chase executive Heidi Miller to its board.

Miller joined the SRS Acquiom board last week, becoming the San Francisco company's fifth director. SRS Acquiom provides escrow investment, payments administration, shareholder representation and other services to buyers and sellers engaged in M&A transactions.

"We see this as a strong endorsement for our company and our vision to create better ways to get private M&A deals done," Mark Vogel, SRS Acquiom's co-chief executive, said in a news release.

Miller said in the release that SRS Acquiom is "[challenging] conventional ways of doing things in private M&A ... using innovative technologies and sophisticated financial engineering."

Miller was featured among American Banker's Most Powerful Women in Banking between 2003 and 2010 and topped the list from 2007 to 2009.

As international president at JPMorgan, Miller led the company's global expansion and international business strategy for the investment bank, asset management and treasury and securities services divisions. Before that, Miller ran a group within JPMorgan's treasury and securities services division, where she built experience in the escrow and payments services business.

Miller also previously was chief financial officer at Bank One, Priceline.com, Citigroup and Travelers Group. Miller is also a director of HSBC, First Data and General Mills, and is a trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation.
