Cornerstone Bank in York, Neb., has tapped Kris Holoch to succeed her father Kelly Holthus as the bank's chief executive.
Holoch previously served as executive vice president and on the board. She has been with the $1.4 billion-asset bank since 2000. Holthus will remain with Cornerstone as chairman.
"I felt that my responsibilities needed to change," Holthus said in a news release. "I plan to stay involved but to reduce the number of my direct reports."
Jeff Krejci will remain Cornerstone's president, a job he's held since last year.
Cornerstone made several other appointments. Daryl Wilton was promoted to chief credit officer from his previous position as senior vice president of lending. Randy Shelden was promoted to chief information officer from senior vice president of correspondent banking. Ray McKenna was promoted to executive vice president of financial services with oversight of trust, insurance, retail investments and marketing. Lynn Vodvarka was named manager of human resources.
Cornerstone Bank operates 35 branches across Nebraska. The bank is owned by First York Ban Corp., which itself is owned by the Holthus family.
